Mark Falade, MM3, 1976 - 80

Good morning Dick, I just thought I'd pass along that to the best of my knowledge EN1 Flynn, who served with me around 77-79 has also taken his final leave of absence. Unfortunately, that's all the info I can provide for you other than to say that although we always seemed to be at odds over one thing or another during our time together, I believe he understood that I did kinda liked him when we were getting along. He knew how to have a good time and create a lot of laughter.

Tom Crosser EM2 USNR

When I reported aboard in late May of 1966 I found myself the senior EM3 in the shop but as green as green could be about shipboard life.  Even greener on my first underway which was as we departed for WESTPAC 66.  I was a two year reservist and needed help. Chris Chastain, EM1, was one of those who helped me find my way. I will always regret not keeping in touch with those in my shop after leaving active duty.

I will take this chance to thank Chris for all he did for me and others in the Electric Shop, R-Division, Engineering Department of the USS BUCHANAN (DDG-14). Save me an upper bunk Chris and I'll see you down by the electric board in Main Control.
